Xstrata and Indophil Resources Go Home!

Sometimes it really is quite simple. Lives are more important than profit.

In the following news item it is literally the foot soldiers who are in trouble while the executives of these multinational monsters (or should that be monster executives of these multinational companies?) go globetrotting in search of more lands to plunder.

Rose Boehm It's happening here in Peru too. If they all had behaved better in the years before, the resultant rejections wouldn't happen. How can you expect to be accepted with open arms by people who seen their rivers poisoned, their babies die, their new-born with birth defects, the water undrinkable, all promises broken... now they say they're going to be good? Tell me another. And if someone dares to get upset, they shoot'em. Problem solved. As long as the State condones these methods they're as guilty as the companies which initiate them.

Rose Boehm It'll change. I know it will. :) Your eternal optimist.
