Cloud Computing is a Utility Service…Sort Of.

Although we often use the term “commodity” or “utility” to refer to the growing trend of computing in the cloud, where services are purchased by the amount of resources used (CPU, memory, disk, etc.), there is no standard way to measure this usage.
