Great response Amy! It amazes me that almost 82% of the population dream of writing a book and never fulfill their goals but they are the same ones who jump to comment on others for their efforts. I for one am looking forward to your next book. :-)

Many blessings! Wishing you the best...
I LOVE "When Autumn Leaves." Since I've read it, I've been trying to find another book that is even close to being as wonderful and magical. I read it two years ago and still haven't found anything that I have enjoyed as much or that has made me feel the way I did when I read your book. I check amazon and your website all the time hoping another book will be released. I am anxiously awaiting another book from you and hope the manuscript you have gets published soon. Don't listen to the haters. I am an avid reader and honestly, your book has to be my favorite book. It's absolutely beautiful and magical. Please keep writing!!! And I hope that book is published soon!!
I really enjoyed When Autumn Leaves. I had read in other comments that someone had emailed you and asked about future books and they said your reply was that you weren't going to write them. I'm so glad to see that is untrue. I look forward to more from you!
Don't let the bitches keep you down! But, seriously, I loved this book, and would love to read more of your work.
I just finished "When Autumn Leaves" and I must say I'm praying that you do sequels to these book because I thought it was really good. Thanks for writing this book :)
I have also just finished reading your book. I love your work, which is what brought me to your author page. I really do hope to see a sequel When Autumn Leaves. However, reading your above post, I couldn't help but disagree with you on a few things. You say to leave your family out of it, but honestly, it is you who brought your family into it in the first place, so I feel it is fair game for any reader to comment on it. You have it splashed all over the back cover who your father is, and anyone above age 14 in the eighties would know who he was. Second of all in your acknowledgements, you tell us that is was your Dad who introduced you to your agents in the first place, so there is two times that you talk about your connection to your dad. I'm a writer too and I would have done the same thing (If I had any connections, which I don't- instead I go to writing conferences to make them) I'm not judging you, but I think its fair game to talk about it in reviews. And, of course, It is not true that publishers take a chance on a book because of a name, it happens ALL the time! I really do wish you good things in your career, I only wanted to point out some inconsistencies in your statements.
I loved your book. There are so many different tastes out there, nobody can love everything but no one should be mean in a review. I hope you do not get discouraged and continue to write as I think you had a very unique and interesting voice. I do not give 5 stars often or easily but I gave "When Autumn Leaves" 5 because it made me desperately want more.
I LOVED 'When Autumn Leaves'!! I was just thinking the other day that this crisp October weather would be the perfect time to re-read the book. I didn't know you were planning a sequel-- how exciting!
Let the haters hate. You have a fan base that loves your work and is eager for more. : )
Amy, I looked you up online first thing after reading your book so that I could THANK YOU for writing it. Whatever anyone may think about it, I am so grateful for finding it in a small bookstore at a tiny airport on the edge of Russia, there was just one copy and I have no idea how it got into my hands, as if it was the book that found me and the magic you write about spilled from the pages into my life. Thank you for that! I believe that what we see in a book is a reflection of ourselves, so whatever the mean reviewers see - it's all about them. I can't wait for the sequels!
I read and rated this book. I gave it 2 stars because I have a strict rating "method" LOL (like my opinion even means anything!!) However, I have to address the fact that I came across some terrible reviews of this book, and I don't get it. I enjoyed the book. First time author, I have to say well done... can she improve? Of course! (who can't?) Would I read the sequels, YES... PLEASE write more!!! I especially would love to further encounter and learn about the "main" characters of Avening. While reading this book , I imagined a wonderful town and peoples within. I would greatly appreciate a return visit to Avening.... hope you're listening Ms. Foster =)
