Review on Reading is Believing ♥

"With a pen slide and already quite mature for her young age, the author draws us right away into the fantasy world of Penthànweald, full of strange lands and just as selfish as deities.

The undisputed star of the story, as implied also the title of the saga, is Morwen, the Heir to the throne of the Underworld, always accompanied by her Black Winged Horse, Hurrichein, ready to defend her from any potential danger. Not that the girl will actually need him.
Morwen fact, destined to be the most powerful Goddess of the whole Kingdom, as well as having a beauty beyond compare, is strong and agile as a true warrior and not accountable for her actions to anyone.

The tension is created between Morwen and Galadir - Prince of the Land of Men - when she goes on a visit to the Palace, you feel immediately and their relationship fascinates the reader more and more over the course of the novel. It's really interesting to see how a seemingly heartless as it seems to be Morwen, manages to fall in love and find its weak point in a young human.

It's just because of Galadir that Morwen is obliged to help the Land of Men, threatened by the Goddess Lash. And so, with him, she leaves for a mission through the Lands of Penthànweald to preserve the security, but behind every corner lurk numerous pitfalls, not to mention the Protègès - human chosen by the Gods to which they are granted special powers - that are designed to try and kill the Heir, seen as a danger to all the Gods who definitely do not want to be dispossessed.

A fantasy well made and well-structured, which leaves all the premises for its sequel. Makes you want to know more about the history of the same Morwen, on the other Goddesses and some of the Lands remained unexplored for the reader.

The thing that's definitely more interest is the unexpected ending that leaves the reader breathless with sospeto. Morwen continues to seem invincible, but is it? The threat of a war between Gods is getting closer, who will be at the expense? We just have to wait for the second chapter of this saga really promising!
I really admired some of the choices that have characterized the novel's characters and great imagination that is behind. I would definately recommend this book to all lovers of fantasy, did not disappoint!"
