East Valley Authors Query Contest

If you're an author who belongs to RWA and has a query all dressed up with no where to go, check this out:

EVA's 2012 Query Contest

The contest is open to members in good standing of RWA National and who are not members of the East Valley Authors chapter. Writers who have not published or been contracted in book-length fiction (40,000 words or more) in the last five years may enter. Entries will consist of a one-page query letter, a synopsis (no more than 5 pages), and a writing sample of the first 5 pages of the manuscript (not to be used for judging purposes).

*The finalist entries will be judged by Micki Nuding, Senior
Editor @ Pocket Books*

A traditional submission package for a fiction project includes a query letter, a synopsis, and sample chapters. Is your submission package
query ready? Do you have a great hook? Does your synopsis capture the
major turning points on which the story revolves? Does your query
capture the style and voice of your story? If so, you may be ready for
this contest!

Deadline September 15, 2012.
All entries will need to be submitted electronically using
