Thank you, Pat!

I also started highlighting passages to add as quotes here on Goodreads when I was done. But I highlighted so many passages I don't know where to start!
Cherise wrote: "Ooo, Emy, I have Australian friends who are always sending me pictures of humongous spiders. So watch out for the monster arachnids and have a wonderful time!
Thank you, Pat!"
Yes, we have some great spiders here!
Spring (which starts in a few days!) is actually the worst season for them too.
But then... most people manage to visit this country without encountering anything too scary... or being put in hospital from some animal attack!

Thank you, Pat!"
The spiders aren't that big! It's the snakes you have to watch out for =P

I am in my study now with a sign on the door "do not disturb I am reading the new Cherise book and surrounded by heavy stuff that will fly at your face if you try to enter"

toofondofbooks: Barnes & Noble takes a while, but it should be up this week. Or a lot of people get it at Loose Id in the epub format, like Pat said.
Jennie, I think Aussie have a higher percentage of sadists--especially the women.
I hope y'all have fun spending time with my liege. :-)

Jennie wrote: "The spiders aren't that big! It's the snakes you have to watch out for =P"
No - the drop bears.
Emy wrote: "Basia Rose: Well, that's good to know!! :P At least I'll have some good reading material if it all goes pear-shaped! :)"
It's actually so much safer than we want people to believe!

*blinks innocently at Cherise* I have no idea what you mean =)

Jennie wrote: "The spiders aren't that big! I..."
True.

That is just not right Tarah! LOL

I've been hesitant to get excited about this book, not sure that Dark Haven will be Dark Haven without Destiny as the receptionist.
What do you guys think?

Nomad--Pat is right. Sierra and Belinda gave Xavier to me and Belinda got Destiny. I think she's working on that book now. :-)
Tarah, did you mean there's no cover art with the book you downloaded, or that B&N wasn't showing the cover up on their site yet?
Virginia, 'researching' ways for Doms to 'torture' their subs is one of the finest aspects of writing BDSM. For deVries--someone pointed out that Doms never forget when a submissive 'owes' them something, so he's going to expect Lindsey to pay up. I'll have to see what I can do. And isn't Dixon a sweetheart? :-)

By the way Ms. Sinclair, I've said it before in my reviews of your work, but my fave part of your writing is your settings. You could set a story in a shoebox and I would feel that shoebox underneath my fingertips and never want to leave said footwear container. I wish other writers could make their settings come alive in the ways that you do.
I can smell the places you describe for crying out loud!

BTW, I hate spiders too, and yes we do have some bloody big monsters here in OZ.

Suzee, the Dark Haven anthologies (1&2) were a spinoff of the BDSM club from the Mountain Masters series, and my stories in them have characters that appeared in the Mountain series. But people wanted owner of Dark Haven to have a book, so that's how My Liege came to be.
Sylvie, I'll see what I can do about Dixon...but he might have to wait a bit.
Thank you, Paris and fangaddict!

On a side note- I love how you, Mrs. Sinclair, weave in updates on couples from previous books esp when the subs are pregnant. You'll have to write another for the DOMS OF DARK HAVEN so I can check on my liege and the professor : )

I loved the book...but I was left wondering about that dam paper Abby was writing...did it get sent on time, did it get published? I kinda want to know seeing as how much trouble it got her into, and it was almost a character in and of itself.

Linda and Melody, thank you! And Melody...hmm. You're right. I should have wrapped up what happened to the research essay a little better. Especially since the members agreed and gave her interviews. Sorry!

Thanks for friending me. As you know I love, love your books! Have read them ALL. Can't wait until the next one with Master Sam! Ooohh, it's gonna be good! Happy writing Cherise!
Celeste

well you can always add it in to the next dark haven book, submissions deadlines are often 4 or 5 months in advance of publications. So no need for apologies, it's just an opportunity to be creative. *grins*

this was a awesome, fabulous, one of her best books - read it soon

Melody--I know the time frame was skewed. That's why I had to make it an online journal with the publisher pulling strings to get a hasty peer review. Since I do epub, I've learned that publications can be sooo much quicker, but those scientific types still don't move that fast. LOL
Yvonne, I hope you enjoy the book. Thanks, Paris & Niki!
Niki, I have to finish a couple of Shadowlands, but I'm hoping to do another Dark Haven...hopefully, before deVries gets too annoyed. Never piss off a sadist, right? ;-)
l just ordered a hard copy of My Liege. I have your books on my Kindle for convenience, but there is something about holding a book and turning the pages that I prefer.
I am revisiting everyone at Shadowlands and Dark Haven to keep me busy until Master Sam's story is ready. I am really looking forward to it.
