It's Royal Society of Chemistry podcast time again, and hard though I may try, I can't totally ignore the Olympics.

We may mock the weekend cyclists puffing along in their shiny Lycra shorts, but the fact is it's an essential these days for many sports. And Lycra turns up in some surprising places.
