Walker & Lara, and Anaheim
I've just completed the current draft of Walker and Lara's novella.It's not yet final, but it's getting there. I'm hoping to work on it further on the flight to Anaheim - it'll be good to do a read-through start to finish.

Shapeshifter of course, simply put they have more magic in them than vampires do in a way. The fact that vampires are created into existence instead of just part of the progression of life gives them a sense of being that i don't generally see with other books. Vampires are always fighting for a spot in the world, as if their existence has to be explained and accepted by the other characters in the book. Vampires are mysterious and damn sexy at it too but shapeshifters, well really, who would say no to one? right?. Don't get me wrong, any old hot vampire is a success in my book, but a earthy approach to magic as a connexion between man and animal is just sweeter.

shapeshifter! they seem more loving and I love how touchy feely they are!
Definitly and with out any question shapeshifters. Cause they are family oriented, they sin to be more protective with their other half and because I love them.
Shapeshifters. Id rather have a hot hunk of burning love next to me than a cold statue any day. ;)
Shape-shifter, they are warm and more relate-able.
I will have to say shape-shifter, because of their ideals and their strenght. Their loyality to their family and pack, most of the times, tends to be heartbreaking.Vampires? Only, if he drinked water... Ok, he could drink whatever he wanted, except for blood, :)
Hmmmm, that is a tough one. Shifters are more.... as you put in your psy/changling novels skin privilege' ordinated. But some authors have come up with vampires that are quite loveable, warm, and a different species but part of this world, they are sooooo hot! Maybe the fact that live my life mostly at night, graveyard worker, and just generally a vampire.... makes me more sympathic to that breed. :-) I probably have the only truly nocturnal cats in the world since they are up when I am. :-) I think can be my problem with some shifters too, they keep daytime hours, their animal forms don't, their eyes were made for dusk/dawn and night visions.... but yet here they are living life as what most humans consider 'normal' hours. Just a thought....,
Shapeshifter. I quite like that the psy novels don't have vamps in them. It makes them a little different to what's already out there.Charlie Huston has the best version of vampires I have read so far. They are more believable, and diverse.
in general or in your books?In your books Shapeshifter because the vampire/archangel ones are a little bit too dark for me...
In general... that's a tough call, while i enjoy vampire books the idea of immortality doesn't appeal to me. i guess it must be shapeshifters again - probably because they have the alpha possessive thing going on and vampires can be little bit too tortured for my taste...
Until now i would have said they were both 50/50, but on these reflections the shapeshifters have nosed ahead...
