Wicked Curves on Kobo

So, many readers may not realize that Kobo has recently launched Kobo Writing Life, a direct self-publishing platform for authors. For any Wicked Readers wondering why they couldn't find my titles on there before, the answer is that I (and many other independent authors) only had painful, limited access (via Smashwords) that was frequently counterproductive. (Which is also why you won't find my titles on Apple or Sony presently.)

But the good news is KWL has launched. There are some hiccups, of course. I was giving them the stinkeye much of last night, but we've made nice for the most part and I've managed to get three titles up today and a fourth is in publishing mode. Those three are Captive Curves, Curves Ahead and Curve Contract. Slow Hand Curves is in publishing mode and by the time you read this just might be live. Next on my checklist is Riding Curves (hopefully tonight) and then Curve Patrol, Curves for Two and Sunny with a Chance of Curves sometime during the rest of this week. (This is totally a one woman operation, from covers to formatting to uploading. The spousal unit is off playing Bejeweled or something. Pfft!!!)

Now, this is being done in between writing breaks on Wolf Curves. I absolutely want Leah & Seth's story live and in your hands this week! Given how much faster Kobo seems in taking a submitted book live, it may be up there before BN & Amazon.

Post-script - If you use kobo for your ebook purchases and are looking for something other than the Curve titles to get up there sooner, gmail wickedchrista. Mostly I'm prioritizing what goes up by sales volume on Amazon. If I have a specific title request, I'll bump it up to the top of the queue (once all the Curve titles are up).
