What keeps you loving and caring?
The heart becomes susceptible to hardening when it is hurt, along with the ability to care.
For many years, I cared so much that my heart broke while working in a caring profession. Yes, I was angry. Yes, I was furious. Yes, I wanted revenge. But, I never quit loving and caring, despite what the toxic culture did to me. In fact, my heart got bigger and stronger, because of God. He loved and cared enough to pull me out of an uncaring and hurtful environment and in to a much happier and healthier one.
So, if your heart has been hurt and you are struggling to care about anything, might you consider letting Him “love” (1 John 4:16) and “[care] for you” (1 Peter 5:7) too. #LoveAlways #CareAlot & #NeverStop
