(October 2nd, 2025) – Last night, Geese made a special guest musical appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performing standout lead single “Taxes” at BAM's Howard Gilman Opera House during the show’s annual return to Brooklyn. The band’s late-night performance follows a traffic-stopping pop-up show over the weekend that brought out a crowd of over 3,500 to Brooklyn to celebrate the release of their widely-celebrated third studio album Getting Killed. The album was named Pitchfork’s Best New Music in their review and received widespread praise from the likes of Billboard, NPR, The Atlantic, The FADER & many more.
Ripping up the expected blueprint the band set with their 2021 debut Projector and the cowboy rock follow-up of 2023’s 3D Country, Getting Killed puts the very idea of conventional rock structures in the band’s crosshairs. Working at a feverish clip with renowned producer Kenneth Blume over a month-long stretch, Geese emerged wielding a sharp, novel new vision for the genre, sporting wry smiles and a resolute confidence. The band spent several days with GQ to talk about the process of making the record and their rapid journey over the last few years from high school friends to formidable rock stars.
Next week, Geese will kick off their ‘The Getting Killed Tour’, the biggest headline tour run of their career, with sold-out headline shows across North America. Launching in Burlington, Vermont next Friday October 10th and concluding with back-to-back hometown shows at Brooklyn Paramount on November 20th and 21st, the majority of the tour is now sold out. The band will also be embarking on the European leg of their Getting Killed tour in March 2026. Next year, Geese will also make festival debuts at Coachella and Primavera respectively. Remaining tour tickets are available HERE.
The band’s 2023 sophomore album 3D Country has become a modern classic, with Rolling Stone calling it “one of the best New York rock albums of the past few years” and Paste calling it the “best rock record made by Zoomers ever.” Geese first started teasing music from the new album at festival sets earlier this year, corralling fans into an absolute frenzy as they speculated about new Geese music on the heels of frontman Cameron Winter’s widely-lauded and mildly befuddling solo debut Heavy Metal. Critically-acclaimed by The New York Times, Pitchfork, i-D, GQ & more, Winter’s idiosyncratic, soul-searching personal journey led him back to Geese, with newfangled ways to careen his voice into the chaotic comedy that is Getting Killed.
