We didn’t get fireballed at that point, or ever, so I guess there was never a Dominion handler to cast mind-reading spells. Or maybe there was, and he got eaten on the way? That’d be a fine outcome, too. When it comes right down to it: we hate the Dominion so much, it’s not good for us. Especially since we don’t really feel bad about it, either.

But I, as they say, digress. The point was, I made the hole just big enough for the rampager to slam into it, right up to its armpits. From the way it started pushing back, it was now well and truly stuck.

That was when I discovered the flaw in my plan.

See, the rampager could still shove stuff around, and you can push a wave through solid objects. Sure, you’ll be breaking bricks and beams in the process, but so what? It’ll all be going away from you! …And right in the faces of the little bastards who ground you down into a warehouse when you were just trying to ravage a town in peace. So what’s the downside?
