Day 4,356: Alarm

Tonight’s fine distinction is “deep web” versus “dark web.”

Definitely heard of the latter and know what it is, but even though I’d heard the former, I never really thought about what it means.

The “dark web” is, of course, the type of websites you can only reach with special software that hides your identity, doesn’t come up in any sort of web search, and is mostly used for illegal activities, some of which is absolutely monstrous.
