We created this song with the intention of doing our utmost to support the drama. We read the script countless times, recorded the song multiple times, and went through countless mix checks and lyrical rewrites,” they continue. “We also grappled with Shakespeare’s line ‘All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.’ We’re happy with how it turned out, as this is the answer that only the current YOASOBI could provide. We hope you will enjoy our song along with the drama.”“Gekijyo” will serve as the official theme for the series, written by Japanese writer and director Koki Mitani.
