Touched base with editor!

I heard from my editor yesterday evening (I've already shared on Tiktok and other places) but everything is going well! To quote her:

"I am just letting you know that I’m right on schedule with your book. I’ve read through it already and I’ve started leaving my line edits in today. I’m having SO MUCH FUN with this book. It feels so solid, your prose are fantastic. The whole thing has been really an intensely enjoyable experience so far.

I cannot wait to get this back to you! It’s so neat to see how much you’ve grown between your first book and this one. Seriously, seriously amazing work you've done here and it’s one hell of a good story."

To say I'm ecstatic to get that kind of response is an understatement and I can't wait to get her comments and changes back and finish this book off in preparation for publication!
