Richard eyed his suit for a few seconds, weighing his options. He didn’t want to put it back on. Not yet. Not after he showered and was so close to being sealed in a stasis pod.

Just a step away from the dreams, he thought. Dreams in stasis were the way the mind dealt with the space warp.

They were convoluted, distorted, and terrifying. He didn’t tell many about them, choosing instead to claim he’s claustrophobic. That was easier to explain.

After all, how does one explain an unexplainable fear?

Wish someone would explain it to me, he thought, sighing.
