A Songbird for the Soldier

I’m excited to say that A Songbird for the Soldier —the fourth book in The Pemberton Series—is on its way and will (fingers crossed) be out on December 1st just in time for Christmas! While it isn’t a Christmas novel, it does feature a Christmas epilogue, a few flurries, and LOVE, so it will fit right in with all the sugar sprinkles and tinsel of the season. If you’re into age gaps, wounded soldiers, angst, and temptation, then this one is definitely for you.

A Songbird for the Soldier features two characters whom I absolutely adore—Captain Thomas Walpole and Miss Abigail Fernside. They were both introduced in A Soldier and his Rules (Book 2), and Captain Walpole has a cameo at the end of A Baron’s Son is Undone (Book 3), but as always, I’m hoping that each book can be read more or less as a standalone as well as part of the series.
