This is a wounded-soldier, age-gap, Regency romance. You can expect super-steamy sex scenes, some sweary language, bisexual representation, a strong heroine, and a fun-loving rascal of a rake who has been torn apart by the horrors of war. He needs soothing, dear readers . . . serious soothing.

This is the fourth book in The Pemberton Series, but it can definitely be read as a standalone.
