“That’s affirmative. Any readings of movement?” The ship’s sensors were more advanced than their suits and could be relayed to them, but no warnings were given and he wondered why.

In answer, the ai said, “Negative movement, Captain. Aside from your own.”

Must be the proximity alerts in our suits that locate them, he thought. “Understood, computer. Open the hatch, and close it once we’re onboard.”
