The Reality: Users don’t search in AI – they ask questions. Your content needs to match these natural language patterns.
Implementation:
Map the question landscape for your domain. Every topic has predictable question patterns:
Definitional: “What is [concept]?”Procedural: “How do I [task]?”Comparative: “What’s the difference between X and Y?”Conditional: “When should I [action]?”Causal: “Why does [phenomenon] happen?”Evaluative: “Is [option] worth it?”Troubleshooting: “Why isn’t my [thing] working?”Include multiple phrasings of the same question. People ask the same thing in different ways. Cover variants:
“How do I cancel my subscription?”“How to unsubscribe from the service?”“Steps to end membership”“Cancel account process”
Answer the implicit follow-up questions. After answering the main question, anticipate what comes next. If explaining how to do something, include common mistakes. When defining something, contrast it with similar concepts.
Use the “explain like I’m five” test. Can a complete beginner understand your answer? Include both basic and advanced explanations to capture the full audience spectrum.
