Time does heal, but there are scars always remain.
I look upon the scars as marks of my fight to keep my identity.
As loss is a lesson of vulnerability;
It teaches us that we have no guarantee
Against having to give up the people most precious to us.
No one completely recovers from a significant loss;
Some emotional vulnerabilities stay.
We wear coats with grief in the pockets for the rest of our lives.
But not every pocket is filled with sorrow, some with sweet memories.
The coat becomes less heavy as the older it becomes.
