பொழுதுபோக்கு என்பதுதான் இந்த நூற்றாண்டின் ஒட்டுமொத்தமான பெரிய வணிகம் என்று அண்மையில் ஒரு செய்தி படித்தேன். உலக அளவில் உணவு உற்பத்தி, ஆடை உற்பத்தியை விட அதுவே மிகப்பெரிய தொழில். நம்புவது எளிது. ஏனென்றால் நாம் சராசரியாக உணவு, உடைக்குச் செலவழிப்பதை விட அதிகமாக இன்றைக்கு கேளிக்கைகளுக்குச் செலவழித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்
