Burger King Moves Forward With New Menu Items

Burger King is moving forward with a pretty significant change to their menu, adding a few beverage options for coffee drinkers and lemonade lovers.

As confirmed by Newsweek on Friday, the fast food chain is rolling out four new Iced Coffee Cold Foam options as well as two Real Juice Lemonades as it looks to add a little more variety to its beverage offerings, especially with competitor McDonald's leaning heavily into diverse beverage options.

Burger King now has four different Iced Coffee Cold Foam options: Vanilla, Mocha, Plain and Black. However, the plain variety is limited to select locations.

As for the Real Juice Lemonades, Burger King has debuted a Strawberry Lemonade that is made with real fruit juice, as well as a Mango Peach Lemonade that is a blend of lemonade made with real peach and mango juices.

"The new Strawberry Lemonade is made with real fruit juice for a delicious and refreshing beverage and the Mango Peach Lemonade is a vibrant blend of lemonade with real peach and mango juice," a Burger King spokesperson told Newsweek on Friday.

Burger King set the recommended price of $2.49 for a small size, $2.79 for a medium size, and $3.29 for a large size. However, there is a chance that the actual prices will vary by location.

The good news is, customers won't have to wait to try the brand-new products, as Burger King has confirmed that the new beverage options will be available across the nation immediately.

This menu addition comes as McDonald's moves forward with a plan to add a number of new beverage options to its menu at its restaurants across the country, adding many beloved drinks from its since-closed CosMc's beverage spinoff location.

Clearly, drinks are a trend, and Burger King is looking to capitalize on it.
