Theodore Roethke's "The Waking"

Neither a big fan of Roethke nor this poem, but I do occasionally find myself quoting the first line (especially the second half), investing it with my own meaning.

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.   
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
