Adam Sandler Admits His Taylor Swift Fandom at 'Happy Gilmore 2' Premiere

If there’s any person in Hollywood completely comfortable in their own skin, it’s Adam Sandler. That stood true as always when Sandler arrived at the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere on Monday, July 21.

While Sandler has fielded questions for weeks, or months for that matter, about the highly anticipated sequel to his 1996 hit film, the topics ranged more than ever at the movie's premiere.

However, when the topic of Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift and her diehard fans, the Swifties, came up, Sandler was happy to discuss all of the above. Even beyond that, the beloved actor also had no problem putting his own fandom on full display.

Access Hollywood asked Sandler if the Swifties were behind Kelce's role in Happy Gilmore 2, to which he replied that they "certainly were happy when Travis was in it."

Then, unprompted, Sandler detailed his fandom of Swift's music.

"Me and one of my daughters drove to—she was working on something, [and] we listened to 'All Too Well,' which is 10 minutes, three times in a row," Sandler said. "I swear to God. And it's tremendous, by the way...It got me rockin'."

The honesty from Sandler is always refreshing. Additionally, hearing that the 58-year-old actor is a Swiftie will only add to the excitement of fans of Kelce and Swift's relationship, who are eager to see the Kansas City Chiefs star in Happy Gilmore 2.

This was also not the first time Sandler had mentioned Swift, as he offered high praise to the 35-year-old pop star in a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"Taylor is so damn nice to my family," Sandler said after confirming that the 14-time Grammy winner had met his children. "My kids met Taylor just a bunch of times over the years, and she's ridiculously nice to them and warm."

Monday night's premiere brought plenty of familiar faces back together, and the official release date for Happy Gilmore 2 is set for July 25.
