Following the success of their critically acclaimed debut EP  Life and Life Only , which featured two AAA radio top five singles and their debut album  One of a Kind , which featured the #1 AAA radio single “Happiness,” the band collected some of their favorite performances alongside reimagined songs from their catalog and favorite covers from their contemporaries.

The album was recorded live with no overdubs to capture the energy and power of the band’s transcendent live show. The collection of songs documents a group of musicians operating as a united musical force at the peak of their powers.

Side A features live performances from their headlining global tour and includes the first ever recording of set opener, “Parakeets,” as well as a rousing rendition of the breakout song that introduced the band, “Go Down River.”

Side B brings their live chops to the studio and includes their iconic takes on Father John Misty’s “Real Love Baby” and Khruangbin & Leon Bridges’ collaboration “Texas Sun,” along with a new take on recent album track, "Wild Emotion." All three tracks were recorded in The Church Studios in London and feature the Soul Sanctuary Choir who elevate the hugely popular songs to new levels.

The album lands amidst ongoing tour dates around the world. Having just played in Europe and the UK with The Teskey BrothersThe Heavy Heavy return to the US for headline dates across the country as well as shows with The Black Keys. The band, led by Will Turner (vocals, guitar) and Georgie Fuller (vocals, keys), will perform at summer festivals including Vancouver Folk Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, Borderland Music Festival, Austin City Limits and more.
