Here's Where to Stream All of Michael Madsen's Awesome Quentin Tarantino Movies

Hollywood legend and the tough guy we loved to see on screen, Michael Madsen, has sadly passed away at the age of 67. According to various sources, he died of a heart attack at his home in Malibu. He will be missed by his surviving family and colleagues, and also by the countless moviegoers who have been watching him on screen since he appeared with Matthew Broderick in the 1983 classic, WarGames.

But, despite also showing up as Halle Berry's boss in the James Bond movie Die Another Die, or playing opposite a killer whale in Free Willy 2, it's almost certainly Madsen's collaborations with director Quentin Tarantino that will live on forever.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)

As Vic Vega, there really is no Reservoir Dogs without Michael Madsen. It was the first feature-length Tarantino movie ever, and set the standard for an entirely new subgenre of movies.

In the epic two-part film, Kill Bill, Madsen plays the pivotal character of Budd, who is the brother of the titular Bill. If you're going to do a Tarantino binge, you can do no better than these two movies back-to-back.

Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 are both streaming on AMC+.The Hateful Eight (2015)

Originally a sequel to  Django Unchained, the 2015 flick The Hateful Eight is very much its own thing. As "Grouch" Douglass AKA "the Cow Puncher," Madsen gives an unforgettable performance in one of Tarantino's most underrated and controversial movies.

The most recent Tarantino film was not Madsen's last movie ever, but it was close to it. Madsen's role in the film is fairly small, playing a character named Sheriff Hackett in the meta-fictional TV series Bounty Law, in which Leonardo DiCaprio's Rick Dalton stars.

That said, Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood is a fantastic film and is still a testament to Madsen's talent.
