Today, indie pop songstress Suki Waterhouse releases Memoir of a Sparklemuffin (Deluxe) via Sub Pop, featuring the new track “The Bellboy (One Last Crush)” alongside an expansive collection of live arrangements and bonus tracks. The deluxe album also includes a special performance of “Yeah! Oh, Yeah!” with Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields, which the two performed together at her sold-out Sparklemuffin Tour stop at the Brooklyn Paramount in December 2024. See the full tracklisting below and listen to the album here.
Alongside the digital deluxe, fans can also watch a 30-minute tour documentary filmed during that show (linked HERE), which features fan interviews, behind-the-scenes clips, and magical performances from the Sparklemuffin Tour. Appearances in the documentary include Del Water Gap, Stephin Merritt, and Amanda Lepore.
Suki will continue her Sparklemuffin Tour in Europe this August and will support Laufey across arenas in North America this fall. For information on tickets, please visit here.
Released last September, the platinum-certified artist asserts herself as an evocative storyteller and consummate creative on Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, which the Associated Press praised as “a sprawling 18-track release” and SPIN declared that the album “marks an important milestone, solidifying her as an artist with a presence as enigmatic as it is captivating.” Suki brought this body of work to life with the album’s executive producer, Eli Hirsch, as well as Jonathan Rado (Weyes Blood, Father John Misty, Beyonce), Brad Cook (Bon Iver, War on Drugs, Snail Mail), Greg Gonzalez (Cigarettes After Sex), Rick Nowels (James Blake, Lana Del Rey), and Natalie Findlay and Jules Apollinaire of the band Ttrruuces (with whom she co-wrote “Good Looking”).
