Balancing Projects: A Writer’s Reality

As many writers know, juggling multiple creative projects can be both thrilling and challenging. Recently, I’ve been working on converting my first novel, Ama, into a screenplay. It’s been an eye-opening experience; more complex and time-consuming than I initially imagined.

While I remain passionate about seeing Ama adapted for the screen, I’ve realised that my heart is currently more invested in the new novel I’m writing. I’m in the first round of editing now, which demands my full attention to polish the story and characters as best I can.

So, I’ve decided to put the screenplay on the back burner for a while. This doesn’t mean it’s forgotten, just temporarily paused so I can focus on what truly drives me at this moment.

I’m excited to dive back into the world of the new novel, to refine its atmosphere and tension, and to share its progress with you all as it develops. Thank you for following along on this journey.

Stay tuned for more updates, and feel free to share your own experiences balancing writing projects!
