Deleted Taylor Swift Announcement Has Fans Wondering
Over the past few months, Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star boyfriend Travis Kelce had taking a break from the spotlight following Super Bowl LIX before Kelce made a few recent public appearances.
Fans are still waiting to see Swift, though there's growing speculation she'll make her first public appearance since the Super Bowl at the American Music Awards on Memorial Day. In the latest episode of Handmaid's Tale Swift's Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version) made a surprise appearance, stirring speculation that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is finally on the way.
“I’ve been wanting to use a Taylor song for many years on the show, and we finally found the perfect spot for a track from her, and I’m so glad we waited because there could not be a more perfect song for a more perfect moment,” Elizabeth Moss said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter about featuring the track.
“Taylor has been such an inspiration to me personally. As a Swiftie myself, and I think I can speak for Yvonne [Strahovski] and our entire cast, who are all Swifties, it’s such an honor to be able to use her music in the final episodes of our show. I said to my editor, Wendy [Hallam Martin], ‘I really want to find a place for a Taylor track in the last two episodes of the show,’ and we wanted to find a music queue for the opening of nine. All the credit goes to Wendy for picking this track for this moment!”
The Handmaid's Tale X account initially posted a video showing the playing of the song, but the video was deleted. Universal Music Group, Swift's worldwide recorded music partner, later tweeted out the video, but like the Handmaid's Tale account, eventually deleted the footage - leading to plenty of speculation online.

Fans clearly have no idea what's going on, but they hope to find out at the American Music Awards in just a few days.
