Yearsago, I was watching a program where the host asked a celebrity, “What was thesecret to his long marriage.” His answer was simple, “Stay Off Talk Shows.”

 

Talkshows gave viewers a glimpse into the personal lives of famous and not sowell-known people. And selected guests did not think twice when it came toairing their dirty laundry on TV. As a result, relationships ended becausepeople just could not keep what goes on in their boudoir behind locked doors.

 

Howtimes have changed when it came to the arrival of the Internet, which can be apositive platform for promoting good relationships. But there is a darker side whenpeople become careless and lax about what they will say online withoutrealizing the consequences by using social media to comment on their personal escapades.It is not just celebrities who broadcast their various exploits, but ordinaryfolks who believe it is okay to share their activities and advice to the entireworld.
