When you meet someone ona dating app or in person, sparks may fly. You have only known that person fora split second and decide to go on your first date and see that date as an invitationinto forming an immediate romantic relationship, without ever allowing yourselftime to get to know that person.

Mention what type ofrelationship you are interested in and be honest. If you are seeking afriendship, a long or short-term relationship, a marriage-minded person, alife-time partner, or an activity partner without the sex, then say so. You want to make afirst-rate impression and catch the attention of the kind of person you areinterested in attracting, or the one who will ascribe to the same attributesand interests that you are seeking. These words can include give, describe,mention, highlight, inform, be and when. Of course, you may come up with otherterms to help create an appealing summary of yourself, a summary that won’tsay, “I am only interested in a sexual relationship.”

 

Finding the right personon dating apps can be daunting but using common sense when searching throughprofiles and reading between the lines will save you disappointments on thatfirst date. Of course, you can always go Dutch treat. This way there will be nomisunderstandings or soaring expectations from the man’s end.
