What You’ll See in Mark Cuban’s Last Shark Tank Appearance
After 16 seasons, Mark Cuban is saying goodbye to Shark Tank—and his final episode is shaping up to be more party than pitch. The May 16 finale features a highlight reel of Cuban’s most unforgettable moments, from silent disco dancing to wig modeling, reminding fans that the billionaire investor brought just as much personality as he did capital.
In an exclusive sneak peek released to Us Weekly ahead of the episode, ABC celebrates Cuban’s legacy not just as a savvy entrepreneur, but as the guy who made the Tank fun. One throwback clip shows the Dallas Mavericks owner breaking into a “money dance” after closing a deal with Foam Party Hats, a company that specializes in bringing color and chaos to celebrations. That $100,000 investment with Lori Greiner was just one of many playful moments over the years.
From sampling beer gadgets to learning how it feels to be a redhead, courtesy of a startup that sells wigs and makeup for redheads Cuban fully embraced the offbeat energy of the show. Fans will also see him cutting loose during Quiet Events’ silent disco pitch, showing that he was always game to test the product and have a laugh.
While Cuban has built empires with some of the brands he backed, he said what he’ll miss most isn’t the deal-making. “It’s going to be more about the crew and the staff… we all look forward to getting together twice a year,” he shared.
Cuban shared the news on X, writing "My last @ABCSharkTank is this Friday. Gonna miss it. But it was time to move on Make sure to watch!"

Fans revealed they'd miss seeing him on the show. On replied, "Gonna miss the face you made every time someone said 'subscription box.'"
"Thank you for all of the great memories. You were definitely the one to watch despite Mr. Wonderful’s claims otherwise. I hope that you continue your great work making prescription drugs affordable through Cost Plus Drugs," another viewer wrote.
One summed it up with, "Gonna miss you calling out Mr wonderful."
Kevin O’Leary, better known as Mr. Wonderful, admitted he tried to change Cuban’s mind. “He’s been part of the DNA of the show for so long,” O’Leary said.
Cuban’s sendoff airs Friday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and if the sneak peek is any indication, it’ll be equal parts heartfelt and hilarious—just like his run on the show.
