Patrick Mahomes Inducted Into Texas High School Hall of Fame
At just 29 years old, Patrick Mahomes has already put together an NFL resume so impressive that a future spot in Canton, Ohio, is nothing short of a lock.
Mahomes has led the Kansas City Chiefs to three Super Bowl victories, taking home the Super Bowl MVP award in each. The No. 10 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft has been named NFL Most Valuable Player twice (2018, 2022) and is a six-time Pro Bowler.
While virtually all NFL fans are well aware of Mahomes' success at the professional level, the latest honor he received goes back to the earlier stages of his playing career. Mahomes revealed on Instagram that he was inducted into the Texas High School Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

He also revealed that he and Adidas Football are signing 15 high schools to Team Mahomes, and each will wear his Gladiator logo on their uniforms. The first school Mahomes announced from that list was his former stomping grounds, Whitehouse High School.
According to The Sporting News, Mahomes was a two-year starter at Whitehouse High School, playing 25 games. Over that span, he threw for 8,458 yards, 96 touchdowns and 15 interceptions while tacking on 21 rushing scores.
Mahomes' best statistical season came in 2013, when he threw for 4,619 yards, 50 touchdowns and just six interceptions over 13 games and tacked on 940 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground.
Mahomes is gearing up for his ninth NFL season, and he and the Chiefs are set to begin training camp the week of July 15, 2025.
