Pedro Pascal Caused 'Stir' With Locals in Iceland

Actor Pedro Pascal caused a "stir" with locals when he showed up at an unexpected place.

The popular actor was in Iceland, and he turned up at a local cafe, according to Iceland Monitor.

The local news site published a photo showing Pascal in a green shirt sitting at a table and smiling while talking to a group of people.

It's not clear why the Narcos and The Last of Us actor was in Iceland.

On May 4, 2025, Iceland Monitor reported that Pascal "was seen having lunch at the café Kaffihús Vesturbæjar (Kaffi Vest) in Reykjavík’s Vesturbær neighborhood."

The publication noted that, although it was unclear whether he was there for work or a vacation, Pascal's appearance "has already caused a stir among locals."

The news that the actor was in Iceland hit several local news sites there.

According to Iceland Review, Pascal "appeared relaxed and low-key" in the photos that emerged of the outing, which occurred at "one of the city’s most popular neighbourhoods."

That site reported that Iceland is becoming popular with celebrities, noting that singer Justin Bieber was also recently in Iceland.

The photos led to fan speculation that they could be a clue that the next Avengers movie will film in Iceland, at least in part. But that has not been confirmed.

DV published a second photo of Pascal in Iceland, this one taken outside.

That photo shows Pascal in the same green shirt but with a black jacket and a big smile on his face as he stood on a sidewalk. Two people in the background look on.

According to that site, the actor was spotted on a "busy road," hanging out in the famed city. He then sat down at the cafe for a "snack," DV reported, adding that Pascal has become increasingly outspoken on public issues of late.
