Book Review: The Treadstone Resurrection by Joshua Hood

Published in 2019. Thriller. Adam Hayes was trained by Treadstone to be a special ops agent, but he wanted out of the program. He got a job as a carpenter and was doing fine until some men showed up at his workplace with guns. He barely escapes and gets help from an old friend. But his friend’s place is attacked when he’s tracked down by more men. The only way Adam can stop the attacks is to find out who is behind it. His investigation reveals more than he bargained for because it’s part of a government operation in South America. Adam uses the training he was taught by Treadstone to uncover the men behind the scenes and get rid of them, one by one.

The book is based on Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne series and is the first in a series, so I’ll look for the others. There is an entire library of books based on this Ludlum series in addition to the other books written by Ludlum himself. I had no idea there were so many. So, I should have plenty more to read in the future.
