Jeremy Allen White's 'Star Wars' Hutt Character Will Be Jacked AF
In the upcoming film The Mandalorian & Grogu, Jermey Allen White will provide the voice of Jabba the Hutt's son, Rotta the Hutt. But, don't let "the Hutt" part of the name fool you. Turns out, this Hutt won't be lazy or slow. Instead, Rotta the Hutt will be an utterly ripped gladiator character, the exact opposite of his dad, Jabba.
At Star Wars Celebration in Japan, new footage for The Mandalorian & Grogu was screened for fans in attendance, which included shots of Rotta the Hutt, in all his musclebound glory.
Holy hell Rotta the Hutt is a fuckin unit. #StarWarsCelebration pic.twitter.com/zmchtRV8Mj

The character of Rotta the Hutt was first introduced as a small baby Huttling in the 2008 animated movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Since then, there's been little official Star Wars canon material to truly get a sense of what happened to Rotta after he grew up.
Well, now we know! As confirmed by those who saw the footage first hand, it appears that Rotta will be a brawler in this Star Wars adventure, a version of a kind of MMA fighter in the faraway galaxy.
Will Pedro Pascal's Mando have to fight Rotta? Will it be hilarious hearing Jeremy Allen White's voice coming out of this creature's mouth? We'll all find out in a year, when The Mandalorian & Grogu hits theaters on May 22, 2026.
