In the Beginning

I'll be brief. Writing has been the unexpected thrill and perhaps the culmination of my professional journey (perhaps - I can't promise that until I'm through reinventing myself).

I was trained as an actress and stubbornly resisted my muse for a few decades before giving in and embracing my inner scribe.

Writing is a lot of work, and invites many levels of criticism. As a "Barney" writer I often brag that you can take a baseball bat to me when giving feedback and not hurt my feelings.

Whether it's good or bad, criticism is an instrument of growth. Growth is a good thing.

So . . . this is how it all began. Stay tuned to see what happens next.Ivey and the Airship
