I did a lot of soul searching while I was in New Orleans. I thought a lot about what I love about my job and what I don't. I really love making my stories come to life, both on the page and off the page, but I don't like making videos. I thought I would love it! I love watching TV and movies, and I'm a former screenwriter. But alas, the process of making videos is an absolute chore.

But I love audio, and I think that's where I need to concentrate my powers.

Have you heard of Spoken? They are an AI audio platform that makes it easy for authors to get their stories out to listeners, and the quality is GOOD. Excellent, even. I met the team that runs Spoken last year at the Author Nation conference and we spent more time together in New Orleans. I think they have something really special here. I'm really impressed with them and what they're doing, so I decided to put one of my short stories on Spoken!
