Hallmark Viewers Demand 1 Thing After Big Announcement
It's been a busy week for Hallmark Media, as they've made a flurry of programming announcements that should make viewers very happy.
One of the most significant announcements came on March 23, when Hallmark dropped the news that their longest-running original series, When Calls the Heart, will be back for a record-breaking 13 seasons.
The announcement has viewers of the show, who often refer to themselves as "Hearties," beside themselves with joy.
However, viewers are making one request of the network when it comes to When Calls the Heart's big return: They don't want to have to wait until 2026 to see it.
Viewers are flooding social media, asking if the new season of the show can premiere in 2025 instead of the confirmed 2026 date. Of course, they know that they probably won't be able to convince the network to move up the premiere date, but it's worth a try, right?

In an Instagram post on a page dedicated to When Calls The Heart, one viewer commented, "By 2026, did y'all mean fall 2025?" one asked. Another replied, "No it's 2026. They usually film late summer then we will get the next season probably Feb 2026." So, the original commenter said, "I know. I was being facetious," with a sad face emoji. "I wish it was fall 2025," another stated on the same thread.
Other viewers flooded the post, too. "How about it returns this fall," one viewer asked. "Hoping January 2026 is the date. See you all then," another stated, realizing that if it has to be 2026, she might as well ask for the soonest date in the year possible.
In other Hallmark news, the network is also renewing their time-traveling family drama, The Way Home, for a fourth season, and they've launched their first makeover docuseries business, Home is Where the Heart is, starring actor-woodworker Luke Macfarlane and co-host and designer Olivia Westbrooks.
