Many fall prey, especially "naive people" (Romans 16:18), to "smooth talk and flattery" (16:18)-all "empty words" (Ephesians 5:6). In an effort to recognize and shield yourself against such deception, Paul urges you to be “strong in the Lord and in his mighty power” (6:10).
