Twin flames

Can’t be together

Can’t stay apart

Love continues burning

Both our hearts

A childish couple

Teasing each other

Playing silly games

We both are losers

Never learning

From our mistakes

We fight and neither of us

Wins the battle

Nor agrees to surrender

So we end up

In separation when

We both are hurting

But pretend

It doesn’t matter

We both are suffering

But stubbornness

Makes us lie

Saying we were

Never better

Till one day again

We long for one another

Reach for each other

Return together

Start all over again

With new burning flames

And more silly games
