Substack Is Awarding Paid Subscriptions!

Some Free subscribers to Thinking About Thinking will be offered their first month Paid courtesy of Substack - starting today until November 4

Here is the notice Substack sent me:

We’re announcing a trial of Substack-funded gifts – complimentary 1-month subscriptions to your publication that are redeemable in the app and are fully paid for by Substack. Our goal is to help publishers across the board drive more reader engagement and high quality subscriptions via the Substack app. And we will pick up the bill.

During select campaign periods, Substack will send a targeted email to your most engaged free subscribers (who don’t yet have the app) and invite them to claim the gift subscription in the Substack app. The first campaign runs from 10/31/2024 to 11/4/2024.

So it’s about motivating folks to use their app.

But for Free subscribers to Thinking About Thinking, this offer comes with a bonus:

For zero bucks for a month, you will have access to all content on the Podcasts tab, including two audiobooks. Preacher Finds a Corpse is there in its entirety, and Mick & Moira & Brad is releasing now and will post the last episode in a couple of weeks.

Listen during your workouts or chill and binge on the couch.

Paid subscribers can download audiobook episodes on the Podcasts tab.
