Storytelling builds community. That’s what this is all about.
Thinking About Thinking is all about the thoughtful and responsible exchange of views. Storytelling brings our community together. Debate sharpens our understanding of the facts. Argument - in the sense that lawyers use the term - helps us refine meanings and purpose.
If you’re an author, I want to invite you -- to a half-hour Zoom session with me at no charge to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your next project. As the announcer of my GetPublished! Radio show would say, “And now, here’s our host, Gerald Everett Jones. He has the answers because he’s already made all the mistakes himself!”
Just fill out this brief online request, and I’ll reply to set up the session with you:
And you’re also a reader, or you wouldn’t be here.So here’s my gift to you for joining the conversation. Here’s a free download of my award-winning novel, Harry Harambee’s Kenyan Sundowner. It’s a second-chance love story set in East Africa. You can select Kindle, EPUB, or PDF format. (You will have to enter your email address again, but it won’t add you to any new list - you’re already here.)

Thinking About Thinking is a reader-supported publication.Click here to download your gift ebook from ProlificWorks. (Reviews are always welcome but not required.)
The Substack business model doesn’t charge content creators like me to set up our blogs. There are no fees to host the site, post, send email newsletters, or manage subscriptions. This approach encourages self-expression and free speech. When you upgrade to a Paid subscription, the site takes a percentage for its operating costs.
I’d say that’s real value for both of us.
As a Free Subscriber, you will be able to see the occasional blogs that are posted to Substack as Public. There should be at least one free post a month, possibly more - especially when there’s a topic I want to make sure you see. Those posts will come to your email box as newsletters. If you wish, you can unsubscribe from the emails. If you do that, you can still view the posts online by logging into Substack.
Paid subscriber benefits (which you may already have). To see all of my posts, GetPublished! Radio, plus Thinking About Thinking podcasts and vidcasts, as well as claim your right to comment on all posts, consider taking out a monthly, annual, or founding member Paid subscription here.
It’s $5 / month $30 / year - that’s less than the audiobooks would cost.
Paid subscribers can access all podcasts and audiobooks on the Podcast tab of this blog. Binge-listen anytime!
