The Three-Body Problem by
Liu CixinMy rating:
4 of 5 starsThe Three-Body Problem is a really good read especially if you're interested in physics. I would have given it a 5 star review if it weren't out of date.
It won the Hugo award in 2015 and was on top of the world for only a year, since, in 2016, Proxima Centauri b was discovered in a stable orbit around its star.
It was however at the top of the science fiction world in China since 2006 where it had a ten year run.
Some might take me to task for having lowered my estimation of this book by so much just because one little thing is out of date. But do you read books about intelligent Martians or moon people anymore? Out of date is less intriguing.
