Poles do not doubt Russia’s removal from the UN Security Council (poll)

We asked respondents to the SW Research survey for rp.pl whether – in their opinion – Russia should be removed from the UN Security Council due to its aggression against Ukraine.

“Yes” was answered by 74.7 percent. Topics.

The answer was “no” by 8.6 percent. Respondents.

16.7% have no opinion on this matter. Respondents.

– Men are more likely to support removing Russia from this institution (77%), people over the age of 50 (79%), and respondents with a secondary education (76%). The same opinion is often expressed by participants with income from PLN 5,001 to PLN 7,000 net (82%) and people from cities with income from PLN 200,000 to PLN 499,000 net. Population (81%) – Przemysław Wesołowski, Head of the SW Research Agency, comments on the results of the study.

Research methodology

The study was conducted by the SW Research Agency among users of the online SW Panel from 1 to 2 October 2024. The analysis covered a group of 800 Internet users aged over 18 years. The sample was selected using random quotas. The sample structure was modified using analytical weighting to match the structure of Poles over the age of 18 in terms of basic characteristics related to the subject of the study. When constructing the weight, sociodemographic variables were taken into account.
