Assorted sundries are an appreciation of all the little things that happen to us. They may be unrelated to each other but still holds a place in our heart, teaches us something, or is something we admire. Here’s my assorted list of sundries for today.

I woke up this morning to find a poem from a friend on my phone. It was exquisite. It was a totally wonderful thing to wake up to. I have discovered that a china set doesn’t have to match to be gorgeous. Growing up, someone must have taught me that plates and cups always have to match. But no! They don’t. Each place setting can be different. It’s like having a garden with a variety of flowers. You can be shy inside, but there are times in our lives when we need to meet new people. Meeting new people can be the best. I have some of my signed books in The Golden Owl in New London, CT. Here’s their website: https://goldenowl.shop/The movie ‘Practical Magic’ is going to have a sequel. I can’t wait. I am cancer free for five years now, but because of the nature of the cancer, I still take a chemo pill. My doctors would rather be on the side of caution and I agree with them. I am excited to be writing my next dragon book. I wrote the first draft and in reading it realized there were tons of errors, so I read aloud each page and fix it. I have a ten times edit rule for myself, as I want my editor to only see my best. My second dragon book will be out in 2025. I am also working on the next book in my vampire series, Arnhem Knights of New York. It’s going to be set in Manhattan, Iceland, and Romania.I am planning a Halloween party for my grandchildren. The leaves are falling from the trees before the whole tree changes. In my yard, I have yellow leaves from the birch tree on the ground but the rest of the tree is green. Interestingly strange.

Those are my assorted sundries for today. Sometimes things get in the way of my writing my blog on Saturday, so Sunday is my go-to day! It takes the pressure off me when there is just so much in life to enjoy and so much that we are responsible for.
