The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas

DNF at 100 pages.

I realize this is a 700 page book, but regardless, I feel that 100 pages is a rather long time to wait for a hook.

This is a beloved book by a legendary author, but it didn't do anything for me. I was bored on the first page, and I was still bored on page 100.

It felt like a juvenile adventure story for a thirteen year old boy. Despite being 700 pages, this did not read like adult literature.
