Life Tools: Have Some Fun By Susan Hanniford Crowley

While we are finally having good weather, go out and enjoy it. Remember to always bring water with you. It is still hot. When you’ve over done it, take a break. Wear sunblock.

*In some areas, there are COVID warnings. Be sure to wear your mask. You might want to avoid crowds.

Where I live, there are lots of country fairs going on. I love the fair. Fun rides, food I don’t usually eat, and things to buy. I like to splurge on the grandkids when I can.

In this work world we live in, it’s important that you make time to play. Even adults need to laugh and fun. We work far to hard. Here are some opportunities for you to explore.

Go to a country fair or carnival. Enjoy a ride. Play some arcade games. Visit a farmer’s market. Go to a beach but not if’s it’s scorching. Remember to wear you sunblock.

If it’s scorching out, don’t get hurt by your enthusiasm to have fun!
Go to a book store. (The Golden Owl has books and curiosities and signed books by me. https://goldenowl.shop/)Go to the movies. Go to museums. Science museums are my favorites. Go to an inside arcade. Go to an ice cream store!

I live in a summer tourist area, so I tend to avoid the crowds that go to events on weekends. I find week days less crowded and personally more enjoyable.

Whatever you choose to do, stay cool this summer. Keep those you love close.
