Don’t Lead. Follow.

“What if I start Monday?” I told the Lord in my heart.

Note I did not really ask. I honestly told. Like I knew best. But I made it sound like a question. As though I was submitting to Him and His will for me.

His answer came quickly.

“What if you let me lead you,” the Holy Spirit of God spoke to my heart.

And there it was. And is. The truth. Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our lives are to be surrendered to Jesus.
